Group welcomes Jared, Jessica, and Laura as summer research students

Group is happy to welcome Jared, Jessica, and Laura as summer students. Jared is working with Minh and Rodrigo on photo excited states of a manganese-organic chromophore complex (as synthesized and studies by the Bergens group) for photocatalytic CO2 reduction. Laura is working with Rodrigo and Ismael on benchmarking methods for computing two-photo absorption. Jessica is working with Nathanael on exploring homodimers of asphaltene-model building blocks as well as some dimers of large asphaltene model compounds to explain experimentally observed NMR signals.
