The vats majority of the group (Alex, Arturo, Christopher, Ismael, Minh, Nathanael, Shyam, and Ryan!) attend the 12th Triennial Congress of the World Association of Theoretical and Computational Chemists WATOC 2020 (held July 3-8, 2022) in Vancouver, BC. Alex was part of the scientific organizing committee with Russell Boyd (Congress Chair, Dalhousie University), Gino DiLabio (University of British Columbia), and Stacey Wetmore (University of Lethbridge). Alex gave an invited talk “Multi-photon absorption in fluorescent proteins and their chromophores: Insights from computation.” Arturo, Ismael, Minh, and Ryan volunteered at the conference. All attend group members (except Christopher who had only been in group 4 weeks) presented posters.
