All the group attended, and many presented at, the recent 101st Canadian Chemistry Conference and Exhibition May 27-31 in Edmonton, AB. Cat, Maria, Shyam, and Zhibo all presented posters while Ali gave a talk. Maria, Shyam, and Zhibo all found time to volunteer. The newest group members, Dai Gaetan, and Kwami, got to take in a week of great science. Alex co-organized two symposia: Teaching in Analytical and Physical Chemistry (with Chuck Lucy, Alberta and Russ Algar, UBC) and Exploring Quantum Molecular Dynamics: Theoretical and Experimental Approaches (with P.N. Roy, Waterloo). Overall a busy but enjoyable conference.
